Our friend Jason Leal hosted a little sneak peek of his photography last night at Blur on Polk Street. I worked with Jason at McCannSF and soon discovered that we both grew up in Stockton (not too far from here), needless to say no one in the office fucked with us. After a few push-up contests and comparing tagging notes, Jason continues to keep it real as an art director there. Jason is currently working on a larger photo documentary focusing on the great people of Stockton, people trying to come up and do their thing. Judging from this preview, he's got some beautiful and gritty stuff, and captures that side of Stockton really well.
